Frequently asked
Common questions, answered plainly.
- What types of returns does this firm prepare?
- Returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and other entities with tax-reporting requirements — including rental income, payroll and sales-tax filings, and returns for taxpayers with obligations in more than one state.
- Does this firm provide planning services?
- Yes. Planning covers individual and business tax planning, business organization, rental property, retirement, sales and exchanges, education planning, and the tax side of home purchase, sale, and refinancing decisions.
- Is the firm available outside of filing season?
- Yes. The practice operates year-round. Notices, planning questions, bookkeeping, and payroll or sales-tax responsibilities do not follow the April calendar, and neither does the availability of the firm.
- What is an Enrolled Agent?
- An Enrolled Agent is a federally credentialed tax professional authorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agents are subject to continuing-education and professional-conduct requirements set by the IRS. An Enrolled Agent is not a Certified Public Accountant or an attorney.
- How should I send tax documents to the firm?
- Through the secure ClientHub portal. Please do not email tax returns, government notices, bank or payroll records, or anything containing a Social Security or employer identification number.
